Welcome Reception: A Bedouin Evening Under the Stars
What to expect: For our first night, we’re excited to take you back to a special moment in our story—only this time, instead of the desert in South Africa, we’ll be gathering in a Bedouin tent nestled among the rolling vineyards of Quinta da Sant’Ana. We’ll have food and drinks to celebrate your arrival in Portugal.
Timings: The festivities kick off at 7:00 PM and will wrap up by 11:00 PM, so we can all stay refreshed for the wedding the next day.
Dress Code: Feel free to go as colourful and Bedouin-inspired as you like! Comfort is key. Keep in mind, we’ll be in the fields with carpets inside the tent—so stilettos might not be your best bet unless you want to sink into the grass! :)
The Wedding Ceremony
What to expect: We’re thrilled to welcome you to the main house of Quinta da Sant’Ana for our wedding ceremony. As the Quinta is a working vineyard, you’ll have the chance to enjoy some of its own delicious wines throughout the evening.
After dinner, get ready to hit the dance floor! The Afterglow Crew will be setting the vibe with plenty of feel-good energy to keep the party going.
Timings: 3:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Dress Code: Be fabulous! Get ready to shine and bring your most fabulous self! This is a night to embrace elegance with a twist—think black tie, but make it extra. Glamorous gowns, statement tuxedos/suits, bold accessories, and unexpected pops of creativity are highly encouraged. Let your outfit reflect the extravaganza of the evening—elegant yet daring, sophisticated yet unforgettable.
For footwear, remember there will be cobblestones and grass, so block or wedge heels are a stylish, comfy choice.

Hangover Beach Day
at Balagan
What to expect: It’s going to be a late night (or early morning!), but we still want to say our goodbyes properly. Join us on the beach—happy, possibly hungover, but ready to have some fun! Bring your swimsuits, maybe your surfboard, too. We’ll have food and a little “hair of the dog” to perk us up, plus the Atlantic Ocean will be right there if you’re up for a refreshing swim.
Timings: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Dress Code: Keep it laid-back and beach-ready. Bring along some comfy sandals or flip-flops in case you want to feel the sand between your toes. Come ready to relax and soak up the good vibes by the ocean.

Timings: Friday, July 4th – Tuesday, July 8th
Where: A little further north of Ericeira, where we’ll be soaking up the surf, enjoying big group dinners, and spending some quality time together.
